DESCRIPTION:The International Ironworker Festival is an annual event held each summer in Mackinaw City. \nIt attracts Ironworkers from across the United States and Canada to compete in friendly \ncompetition\, including knot tying\, rod tying\, rivet tosses and column climbs. \nIt is open to the General Public\, although only Ironworkers and Retirees can compete in the skilled events.

DESCRIPTION:Located in Conkling Heritage Park on the scenic shores of the Straits. \nSaturday 10am to 6pm\nSunday  10am to 3pm \nThe weekend will feature various booths with handcrafted ware from many artists from around the state.  Exhibits to include Paintings\, Woodwork\, Hand-Crafted jewelry\, Hand-Designed Clothing\, Self Published Books\, Nature Photography\, Gourmet Dips and Salsa\, Seasonal Décor and much more! \nTop off the fun on Saturday night with our weekly spectacular fireworks show at 10pm located on the shores of the Straits. \nAll ages welcome.
